The objective of Reds Winding Way is to progress through the levels of the woodland by navigating the road tiles to reach the Grandmas cottage. The path through the woods is fixed and cannot be altered, but the environment changes from clearing to tangles. Players are provided with a fixed shelf of road tiles, which they can drag onto the board and tap to turn them. Connecting Red to the door in each level is essential. The woods are not moving, and the door only opens from the side it faces.
