However, the rules change in two modes: 'Classic' and 'By Time'. In 'Classic', players must make as many rows and columns as possible to score, but the game is over if they don't have enough spaces to fit the pieces. In 'By Time', players lose when their time is up, but they can gain extra time by destroying rows or columns that have the power-up.
